Well I finally took slowmonte out to the race track for the first time with the turbo kit...and the first time in over 2 years lol... Place was really busy I got there about 5:30 or so and I was already car number 93! Got 3 runs in all night long, best run being a 13.6@102mph with a 2.1 60'

The other two runs were both 14.0s with really bad 60' times (2.5) I had problems launching the car biggest being the brakes wouldn't hold the car back and 2 out of the 3 runs the car actually slipped through the light and fucked me all up.

I ran full street trim, full exhaust, had my rask kit on, and stock 225 tires all the way around. Boost is at 9psi. All in all not so bad, about what I was expecting out of it. I am gonna go back just as the car sat last time and hopefully get some more practice at launching it. I think it has a low 13 in it as it sits without dropping any of the exhaust (I can drop Y and 2 mufflers in the back for straight 3" or all of it lol) Can't wait for next time!

man, whats taking you so long on upping the boost on that thing ... just find an oversized radiator from a cruiser and then let both fans run all the time ...

Shit man the stock radiator in it right now cools the car down just fine! I took the thermostat out when I redid the fuel lines and on the way home from the track the car was running at around 165* F! Very cool....I do have a 10" fan mounted on the IC radiator up front thats wired up to the IC pump relay so that runs all the time.

I mainly need a new radiator for the over sized transmission cooler and then I should be able to put a 160 or 180 stat back in it and it should be fine. The trans temps are on the warm side though, they tend to creep up to around 200* F over extended periods of driving.

The car is plenty fun and plenty fast on 9psi IMO thats why I havent rushed into cranking it up. Expect some better times at this boost level before the end of the year! 12s might be pushing it but I would be happy with some low 13s.
